How do you talk to yourself, in times of stress or overwhelm? Are you using words that would build you up, to help you persevere? Or are you saying hurtful or belittling things to yourself that make you feel worse? Life can be noisy—full of pressure, comparison, and moments that make us question our worth. In the middle of all that, we need reminders. Not empty positivity, but words that hold us steady. Words that anchor us we need Affirmations.

These aren’t fluffy mantras. They’re emotional touchstones—simple truths to return to when you’re overwhelmed, overthinking, or just tired of being strong all the time. Whether you whisper them in the mirror, write them in your journal, or breathe them in during a tough moment, these affirmations are designed to support real people in real life.

Affirmations won’t fix everything—but they can help us shift our mindset. They can soften your inner voice, calm your nervous system, and help you practice giving yourself grace.

That’s the heart behind this blog series: Affirmation Anchors. Each week of September, I’ll share one intentional affirmation, along with guidance on when to use it, why it matters, and how to make it part of your everyday life.

Let this be your weekly check-in. A breath. A pause. A place to begin again.

You deserve that.
